Marinade for Grilled Pork Tenderloin

I'm always on the hunt for a good marinade for pork tenderloin and chicken. Try this simple marinade made with Maple Syrup. Savoury and sweet.

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup Maple Syrup

1/4 Cup Tamari, or low-salt soy sauce

2 Tablespoons of sherry or sherry vinegar

1 1/2 Tablespoons chopped onion, or green onion

1 Teaspoon of ground cinnamon

2 Tablespoons of olive oil

1 Clove of fresh garlic, smashed

Method:

Mix all of the above in a small bowl

Place a medium-large pork tenderloin in a large ziplock bag

Pour the marinade over the pork

Seal the Ziplock bag and refrigerate overnight

Then grill for about 8-9 minutes a side on medium-high for medium done

Rest under tented foil for 10 minutes

Slice on the diagonal

Delish!

*I serve this with my smashed roasted baby potatoes or saffron rice and a green salad with Asian dressing
