Delicious, juicy, flavourful steak. And easy! Serve with saffron rice and grilled vegetables.
Ingredients:
Marinade
1/4 Cup Oil, your choice, I use good quality canola oil
1/4 Cup Tamari
1/4 Cup Runny Honey
1-2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Bunch of green onions, or 2 shallots
3 Teaspoons of fresh ginger, grated
1 Flank Steak
Method:
Blend together the marinade ingredients
Place the Flank steak in a large zip-lock bag
Pour marinade over the steak and seal the bag
Marinate overnight in the fridge
Grill 5-6 minutes each side for medium rare
Cover loosely with foil and Rest for 10 minutes
Slice on the diagonal very thinly and pour any jus over your finished product
Serves 4 or 2 very hungry people
